A new generation of games is here, and it’s actually very fun. Pokemon Go is a monster-catching game developed by Niantic. The goal of the game is to find gyms located in local areas and train pokemon for battles against other teams. The pokemon you catch are visible on your map, and they can be seen through walls. That’s right, you have no idea what’s behind that building your standing in front of.
Catching pokemon is the most difficult part of the game – once one appears on your radar, it runs away after being spotted. To catch it you have to be quick and throw a pokeball at it before its gone for good. The challenge this presents makes it all the more satisfying when you finally do catch one. Granted, I haven’t caught a single pokemon in 3 days of playing – but that’s okay because it’s still extremely fun and addicting.
Where can you find Pikachu on the map? Is it worth the extra effort to find one?
Pokemon go initially offers you either charmander, bulbasaur or squirtle as your starter pokemon. I’ve found that finding a pikachu is much easier than catching any of these three starters, and like anyone else who plays this game – Pikachu is my favorite Pokemon.
Pikachu is available in the game for you to catch (and I’ve caught it) but he’s not available everywhere. He also has a very low chance of appearing on your map, so catching him is extra rewarding.
I play this game with my dad and we both agree that finding Pikachu was the most exciting part of this game. Seeing a rare pokemon appear on your map is extremely exciting, and being able to click on your location gives you an idea of how far away it is. Once you know where its hiding, catching it can be a challenge – especially since it has a tendency to run away after the first pokeball.
How to fight cliff pokemon go
Fighting other trainers is the second most difficult part of this game. First, you have to level your pokemon up by making it fight itself or catching more pokemon. Then finding someone willing to fight with you may be difficult. To fight a trainer, touch them on the map and hit “fight”. Its usually an unbalanced match since you should be much more powerful than the other trainer, but it should still be fun.
Once you’re in a battle, you can switch your pokemon by tapping on their image at the bottom of the screen and selecting another one. You can also use items like potions or pokeballs to help during battle (Since they both deplete your inventory space).
The goal of a battle is to lower the health bar of your opponent by throwing a pokeball at them. Each pokemon has a different special ability or attack that can be activated by tapping their portrait. Once you’ve defeated the opposing trainer, they will give you experience and sometimes money as well as their pokemon (which you can add to your collection).
How to battle and capture a Pikachu
First, make sure you’ve leveled up at least once. It has to be higher than the opposing trainer’s pokemon (higher levels give you more options throughout the game). Then make your way to a location where there are lots of people around – this will increase your chance of finding Pikachu in the wild.
Conclusion
If you want to find Pikachu, just keep playing the game well into the night. He appears much more often at night than during the day – I’ve found that he’s much easier to catch when it’s dark outside. Try to look behind buildings or bump into walls because pikachu has a tendency to hide there. And if all else fails – keep playing until you find him.
