Taric is a support champion who has been played by professional League of Legends players for years. He’s got great versatility, with the ability to heal allies or deal damage through his spells and abilities. Taric also has many skins that are uniquely designed for players looking to pick up their favorite character in-game.
Taric’s Best Skins in League of Legends (Ranked) are armor of the fifth age taric, tundra swain, and tiamat. These three skins have been picked by many professional players because they provide a high amount of damage for low cost.
Taric is the most worthy of a sparkling skin out of all the League of Legends heroes.
Unfortunately, despite his sporadic prominence in the professional field throughout the years, he has yet to find a large following. As a result, Riot has ignored him as well.
Despite his extended stay in the League, this leaves the Shield of Valoran with a minimal selection of skins to pick from.
While this is bad news for skin lovers, it is wonderful news for everyone who has ever been on the receiving end of the iconic Taric/Yi funnel tactic. Because the less people that play him, the less likely it is that we’ll get a pentakill.
Here’s my rating of all of Taric’s skins for the sadists and support lovers among you.
5. Taric Emerald
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
On November 20th, 2009, the film was released. The cost is 520 RP.
Taric’s most basic skin was, predictably, the first skin he ever had.
Even though I believe it’s the least spectacular in his portfolio, the aesthetic makeover gave it a lot of favors, instilling some individuality via the skin’s mythology and elven traits.
The splash art, though, was the first and most visible upgrade. And it’s probably my favorite splash art from all of his skins.
The essential aspect of Taric’s identity (his jewels) is prominently featured in it. It also highlights the finer details of his skin, such as his elven ears and circlet.
It’s also a positive thing, since they’re lot more difficult to see in game.
This skin (and his others) are held back by a lack of overall visual clarity. It’s only because there’s a lot of green.
However, if you love the color green, Emerald might be precisely what you’re searching for.
4. Taric of Bloodstone
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
The 9th of August, 2011 was the date of release. The price is 975 RP.
Bloodstone is an intriguing skin since it has a design that is diametrically opposed to basic Taric’s, yet it doesn’t alter anything about his appearance.
I can’t help but think that a fresh recall or a couple of additional vocal lines (or maybe a voice filter) would’ve taken this skin to the next level.
Bloodstone is, in my opinion, a much cooler theoretically than Emerald (hence the ranking).
Apart from the chest gem, this skin doesn’t have anything to make it stand out aside the palette.
Taric’s Armor of the Fifth Age
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
The 8th of April, 2010 was the date of release. The cost is 750 RP.
This is a skin that deserves to be labeled “outrageous.”
For that reason, it takes precedence over the others.
But it’s the ostentatiousness of this skin that makes me like it.
Taric and Gragas were the apex of masculine body iconography before we had the likes of Sett and Viego haunting the Rift.
AotFA Taric was the ideal buy for those who wished to show their latent sexuality, especially after Gragas acquired his rank sans a skin.
While both champions and skins are increasingly getting the open shirt treatment, AotFA Taric is still worth considering for the leg warmers alone.
If that wasn’t enough, the combination of Taric’s naturally blue ability effects and this skin’s pink is also rather lovely.
Taric Luminshield is number two.
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
On March 19th, 2020, the film will be released. 1350 RP is the price.
Luminshield and the other champions with whom it shares a splash image are part of a fantasy skin range inspired by tabletop games like Dungeons and Dragons.
D&D and fantasy in general are two of my favorite things. As a result, these skins have a particular place in my heart.
Taric’s skin, on the other hand, isn’t like that.
I believe it’s because Luminshield has the same issue as the other skins on this list so far: Taric’s profile is too difficult to distinguish, and many of these alternative skin designs simply come off as palette swaps with tiny differences.
To put it another way, he already looks too much like a paladin to pass himself off as one!
While this skin lacks in individuality, it more than makes up for it with its talents.
They all have fresh effects and a rainbow sheen that utterly outshine his originals.
That’s not even taking into account the new recall animation, which goes a long way toward justifying the increased price tag.
1. Taric’s Pool Party
Riot Games is responsible for this image.
Date of Publication: July 13th, 2016 1350 RP is the price.
This skin resolves all of my concerns with Taric’s previous skins!
That is also not an exaggeration. Taric preserves his individuality while adding a lot more personality, aesthetics, and fun to the mix.
His new position as a lifeguard, starting with his design, is a wonderful match for his previous role as a steadfast protective support.
His diamonds have been changed with lifesavers, and his hammer has been replaced with a megaphone, both of which enhance his design while also looking good.
We also see his signature open shirt style, as well as other outfits that bring the lifeguard look gloriously full circle.
Each of his skills has been tweaked to add a touch of watery flare – and they’re stunning.
The timer of his ultimate, Cosmic Radiance, transforms into a pair of “deal with it” sunglasses, which is the appropriate touch for such a frustratingly powerful ability.
To top it off, he receives new and more appropriate recall and death animations, as well as a fantastic speech filter.
Pool Party is in a different league from the other skins, which are just “decent” at best.
