This is a simple script that allows you to clean up your vault in Destiny. This will clear all the unwanted items and get rid of any duplicates you have been collecting over time.
“How to use dim to clean vault” is a guide that will help you clean your vault. The guide includes detailed instructions on how to use the “Dim” command.
Good day, Guardians!
For a long time, I’ve felt that the vault and lack of capacity has been the number one concern for any engaged guardian. “How do I clean my vault?” is a question I hear often.
Cleaning your vault may be a chore, which is why I created a Vault Cleaner program a year ago to assist users with this activity that is both free and ad-free.
A year later, the Vault Cleaner is better than ever, thanks to the input I received from the community.
So, today, I’d want to spend some time to show you around the tool:
Vault Cleaner from Destiny Recipes
=>
http://d2vaultcleaner.com or https://destinyrecipes.com/vault
Login is the first step.
Click the “Login” button at d2vaultcleaner.com (redirects to destinyrecipes.com/vault). You’ll be sent to the configuration page.
Configuration is the second step.
The Vault Cleaner is primarily a tool to assist you in cleaning your vault. It will only provide suggestions based on community agreement, but you will not be forced to follow them.
The first step is to decide which fundamental guidelines you wish to use to begin categorizing your stuff.
Optional weapons
Rule |
Behavior |
Explanation of default value |
Weapons that aren’t dirty |
The tool will not go through your weapons if this is turned off. |
On. |
PvE roll quality must be at a minimum. |
Select a number between 0 and 100. Every weapon with a PvE score greater than this will be kept. If “Best only” is selected, the gadget will preserve just the best roll in your possession. |
Only keep the best: this is the most efficient way to get rid of anything that isn’t the greatest while maintaining at least one duplicate of each weapon. |
PvP roll quality must be at a minimum. |
Select a number between 0 and 100. Every weapon with a PvP score greater than this will be kept. If “Best only” is selected, the gadget will preserve just the best roll in your possession. |
Only keep the best: this is the most efficient way to get rid of anything that isn’t the greatest while maintaining at least one duplicate of each weapon. |
If masterworked, keep it. |
If this option is selected, all masterworked weapons will be kept. |
Off. Weapons that have been honed to perfection aren’t always excellent rolls. |
Exotics should be kept. |
If activated, all exotic weapons with fixed-rolls will be kept. |
Off. Any fixed-rolled exotic in your collection may be recrafted. It’s not necessary for you to retain it in your vault. |
Keep the door already shut. |
If a weapon has previously been locked in the game, the tool will retain it regardless of what happens. |
Off. If you have already pre-sorted your vault or are using the lock function for anything else, this is only helpful. |
Remove all sunset-related weaponry. |
If enabled, any weapons that cannot be infused above 1260 will be removed. |
On. Those weapons are worthless, but you may keep them as a keepsake. |
To sort, choose a weapon type. |
You may uncheck any weapon types you don’t want the tool to check by unfolding the list. |
All on. |
Options for armour
Rule |
Behavior |
Explanation of default value |
Armor that is free of impurities |
The tool will not go through your armor parts if this is turned off. |
On. |
Keep the greatest overall stat. |
Keep the armor piece that has the greatest basic total stat of all the armor pieces in each slot. |
On. You usually don’t want to get rid of the armor piece with the greatest overall numbers. |
Maintain the maximum degree of power. |
Keep the armor piece that has the greatest power level of all the armor pieces in each armor slot. |
On. You don’t want to lose your greatest PL armor piece by deleting it, since this would result in a loss of global PL. |
Maintain your masterpiece. |
Keep an armor piece that has been masterworked. |
On. At least 1 ascendant shard is required to masterwork an armor piece. Dismantling a masterworked object would be a waste of time. |
Exotics should be kept. |
If it’s on, I’ll keep everything unusual. Exotics will be handled like any other armor piece if they are turned off. |
Exotic armor parts have inconsistent stat distribution and can’t be recrafted from the collection. |
Keep your raid armor on. |
If a piece of armor came from a raid, keep it. |
On. Raid armor has its own mod slot, so be cautious while disassembling it. This will save you from accidentally deleting anything you’ll later regret. |
Maintain your current season’s armor. |
Keep any armor pieces from the current season’s set. |
On. Seasonal armor is handy for a variety of victories and activities. |
If one of your stats is more than 23, keep it. |
If any of the armor piece’s stats are more than 23, retain it. |
On. A stat of more than 23 on an armor piece is excellent, and it may be a key component of a customized loadout. |
Maintain a 15/20 stat pair |
Keep it if at least one stat is above 20 and another is over 15. |
On. 15/20 pairs are excellent armor pieces that are required for effective loadouts. |
Keep triple 15 in mind. |
Keep the armor piece if it has three distinct stats above 15. |
On. Multiple loadouts may be completed using Triple 15 armor components without ruining the global stats. |
Stats should be balanced. |
Keep it if all of the armor’s stats are close to each other. |
On. Balanced metrics are even more versatile than triple 15, although they aren’t quite as excellent. It’s worth maintaining in any case. |
Keep 65+ |
Keep the basic total stat if it is more than 65 (or any amount between 50 and 75 chosen by the user). |
On the (65). Any armor item with a rating of 65 or above is often quite beneficial in any loadout. To better fit your demands, you may alter the minimum quality using the input below. |
Keep the door already shut. |
If an armor piece has previously been locked in the game, the tool will always retain it. |
Off. If you have already pre-sorted your vault or are using the lock function for anything else, this is only helpful. |
Take off your sunset armor. |
If enabled, any armor parts that can’t be infused above 1260 will be removed. |
On. Those armor components are worthless, yet they have emotional significance for you. |
Feel free to experiment with these choices until you discover something that appeals to you.
When you click the “Overview my vault” button, the program will arrange your stuff based on your settings. There will be no items removed from your game as a result of this. Nothing is capable.
Step 3: Go through everything again.
A page with two columns will be generated for each weapon type and character:
– To Maintain (green column)
– To Take Away (red column)
You may hover over any object to examine the information (perks, modifications, stats, etc.) and then drag and drop it into the desired column. They’ll be ordered at first based on your settings.
Below each weapon are two pieces of information:
– The percentage in blue indicates how close your weapon is to a PvE “godroll.”
– The red percentage indicates the distance between your weapon and the PvP “godroll.”
In the “Godroll?” section below, you’ll find further information about how the percentages are computed.
Armors may have numerous pieces of information shown underneath them, one for practically every configuration rule.
Step 4: Execution
After you’ve completed all of the pages, you’ll be sent to a summary page where you can see every thing that has to be removed and every item that you wish to retain. You have three choices at the bottom of this page:
1) Lock/unlock things: In-game, all objects marked “To Keep” are locked. In-game, every item marked “To Remove” will be unlocked. This is done so that you may remove anything that is unlocked in your game’s vault. This eliminates the time-consuming task of determining which item is which. It’s simple enough to acquire by deleting everything you can.
2) Copy DIM query: You’ll have a DIM query that you may enter into their search field. Each item that has been marked as “to delete” will be highlighted. After that, you may do anything you want with the DIM features (move them around, mark them as “trash”, add notes, etc.)
3) Cleanup Export: This will download a file that Destiny Recipes will utilize. This will preserve the cleaning you just finished so you may finish it later or share it with someone else (see the “Caring is shared.” section below).
Godroll ?
1. Perks
What is the Vault Cleaner’s weapon rating system? Voltron is a thorough wishlist calculated by the DIM devs and built by many theorycrafters from the community for Destiny Recipes’ perk ratings.
This is the same file that DIM wishlists, light.gg, and a slew of other programs utilize.
It may be found here: 48klocs/dim-wish-list-sources: DIM source files for desire lists (github.com)
AyyItsChevy, Mercules904, PandaPaxxy, YeezyGT, blueberriesdotgg, kj414j45, and others identified in the github repository linked above are among the community theorycrafters acknowledged.
I can categorize particular bonuses as beneficial for PvE, PvP, or both thanks to this file.
2. Estimation
I can do stuff with it now that I’ve labeled every perk of most of the guns. I can now compute a score for each weapon.
For each benefit slot, write:
+2 points if you have a gold perk in the column (useful for both PvE and PvP)
– If you have a blue or red perk in the column (depending on whether you’re computing a PvE or PvP score): +1 point
– If not, 0 points
Every weapon now has a rating. The percentage is then calculated from the difference between the maximum and actual score on the weapon.
Sharing is caring
I included the ability to share your vault with other players in the most recent version of the tool. This is handy if you, like many others, are unsure which weapons and armor parts to retain. You may acquire a link by clicking the “Share my vault” button below the setup.
Any player who has the URL to your vault will be able to view and sort it. They may either give you the DIM query or provide you the cleaning file they can get at the conclusion of the procedure after they’re finished.
If you need assistance cleaning your vault, or if you want to suggest one, go to Destiny Recipes’ Discord server and post in the “vault-cleaning-help” channel. I’m hoping we’ll be able to locate some excellent people among us to assist overworked guardians.
Thank you
Now is the time to clean up your vault!
Make use of it. It’s worth sharing. Please don’t break it. Love,
