The Halo Infinite campaign co-op will not be released until at the earliest May 2022, according to 343 Industries. The company said that they are willing to take their time on the game so it is worth all of your time and effort. But don’t worry yet – just because you can’t play with friends doesn’t mean there won’t be plenty of opportunities for solo players who want a challenge.,
The “Halo Infinite Multiplayer Not Loading” is a problem that has been present for a while. Halo Infinite multiplayer won’t be out until May 2022 at the earliest, with Forge coming even later.

Until at least half a year after the game’s release, Halo Infinite’s campaign mode will remain an exclusively single-player experience. That’s according to Joseph Staten, 343 Industries’ Head of Creative, who confirmed in a recent interview with Eurogamer that the shooter’s campaign co-op mode won’t be released until at least May 2022, owing to Season 1’s prolongation. For this reason, Forge, the game’s map editor, has also been delayed.
According to Eurogamer’s report:
[…] With the latest expansion of Halo Infinite Season 1 to May 2022, campaign co-op and Forge mode release dates have been pushed back from their previously planned debut dates. […]
Seasons were supposed to be released every three months, however the Season 1 battle pass indicates that Season 1 would finish in May 2022. […]
343 had said that campaign co-op would arrive during Season 2 at the earliest, which gamers took to imply around three months after the game’s release.
Meanwhile, Halo Infinite’s user creation tool Forge wasn’t intended to arrive until Season 3 at the earliest — around six months after launch.
“When we first spoke about campaign co-op and Forge, I stated our objective was to ship campaign co-op in Season 2 and Forge in Season 3,” Staten said.
“Yes, Season 1 will be extended.” So, as I previously said, our plan is to release campaign co-op with Season 2 and Forge with Season 3. However, those objectives remain the same. Those are still the goals. And we can’t provide any definite dates right now because, as we’ve seen with this multiplayer beta, other things may rise to the top of our priority list.”
“It’ll be a continuing battle to address some of those larger rocks,” Staten said. “However, we still have a number of major commitments to fulfill to our fans: campaign co-op and our Forge toolset are both huge promises that we need to keep.”
