The latest installment of the Call of Duty franchise is set to release on November 3rd, and with it comes a new co-op mode that will be available for all players. This mode is called “Zombies,” and it will allow four players to team up and take down hordes of zombies in a variety of different maps.

Activision has shown the newest version of Zombies that will accompany Call of Duty: Vanguard, the company’s next big Call of Duty game. Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies, developed by Treyarch Studios, is the next installment in the Dark Aether Saga, which started with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and takes players to the remains of a Stalingrad inhabited by the undead. With a new set of Dark Aether abilities, players may join up with up to three other Special Forces agents to defeat the zombie army.

Zombies returns to its origins in the period when Call of Duty Zombies originally began by reentering the World War II scenario. Treyarch Studios has used Sledgehammer Games’ strong Vanguard technology to immerse players in a harsh new world that will appeal to both longstanding fans and newcomers alike in this new chapter.
Step through a portal to be transported to the heart of the battle, whether it’s fighting the undead on the Hotel Royal’s rain-streaked roofs or trekking through the marshes of fan-favorite Shi No Numa. Explore the ever-expanding forward operating base in Stalingrad between missions to get access to traditional upgrades including Perks, weapon upgrades, and the Pack-a-Punch. It doesn’t take long in Vanguard Zombies to find yourself knee deep in the undead.
Zombies gamers may join up with their pals regardless of what platform they’re playing on thanks to cross-play and cross-gen compatibility. On Friday, November 5, Call of Duty: Vanguard will be available on Battle.net for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
