If you play PvP, you know all about Valor Points. If you are gearing up your new level 80 character through the dungeons or other non-rated battlegrounds, then I’m sure you’ve earned a ton of Valor Points. For those of you that have no idea what I am talking about, let me give you some information.
Valor Points are earned by completing Battlegrounds, Arenas or Skirmishes. The amount of points you earn is based off the maximum rating that you can earn for your team. For example, if your team can earn 1750 to 2000 rating in a battleground you will earn 150 Valor Points.

Currently, there are no items in the game that are purchased with Valor Points.
I have not yet seen any information about what the costs will be when it hits live realms. However, I did some math to see how much it would cost to upgrade a piece of Mythic Gear from 26% to 30%. The following chart reflects these costs.

order to upgrade this ring, all you need to do is visit the Valor Point vendor and purchase a [Small Prismatic Shard] for 100 points. This upgrades your ring one tier, from 463 to 563. In theory it should be able to upgrade two tiers per small prismatic shard, but that has not been confirmed yet.
